There have been a couple posts here about people claiming their will be dropped if they don't replace their old roof as well as a number of posts where posters reported they couldn't get insurance (or not get roof coverage or get depreciated value coverage) unless their roof was replaced. While I'd like to find them and link them it's just not worth bothering. I know for 100% sure it happens elsewhere in FL as my son-in-law's parents live on the east coast of FL somewhere near Cape Canaveral and their company required the roof to be replaced or they would be dropped 2 months after they moved in.
