Back in MN, we used Culligan. They offered a Salt delivery service and they would load the salt for you. Of course they charged more for the salt, like $10/bag instead of $5/bag in the store but you got it delivered and the loaded into your tank. You could schedule them to come monthly. They other option might be to just keep a 2 qt pitcher and do scoops of salt instead of lifting the entire bag. You could take it down to a manageable level and then lift it....
