You need to realize how many people have issues with lawn mowing service people.
We are not demanding customers. We pay them on time etc. In nine years we are on our third guy. First one quite after a few weeks didn't want to work outside his region. Supplied a replacement a nice young guy did a great job. Just disappeared- stealing 3 weeks that were prepaid for. Next guy also a nice guy also just stopped coming. I contacted him and he refunded money paid but not earned. We are now on our third guy. Yet another nice guy. So far he is reliable. Quality of his work is the worst of the three.
This is the first time in 45-50 years that I did not mow my own lawn. Heck in high school I ran a small lawn mowing, snow shoveling business.
One more time and I will be doing my own lawn again. It is no big deal if you do not have a landscape,"artist," create a MONSTER to mow. None of the pros will do it but you are not supposed to cut off more than 1/3 of the grass length. In peak growing season that is TWICE a week. The grass should be dry when you cut it. That is not every tuesday. Current guidance suggests not picking up cuttings. A 5,000 sq ft lawn, properly laid out should take you roughly 15 minutes to mow.
Why are they coming every two weeks now? Truly simple. To justify our paying them.
They are accomplishing NOTHING. Your lawn is not growing much now.
