??? The hospitalization numbers and death numbers WERE reported in that aarticle. Are you upset that the article did not analyze the data in a way that provided results that you wanted? I prefer reading the facts.
Funny thing about odds - 98% seems like a really high number until you find yourself in the 2% group. If your power was 98% reliable then it would only be out about seven days each year. Sometimes 2% is not really that small.
(We don't yet know that Omicron is much less deadly than the other variants. Things numbers are pointing in a good direction but the next week or so should tell.)
