That article mentioned a value of $2,000.00. Who, in their right mind, would leave $2,000.00 worth of clubs sitting in a parking lot unattended? Or a $400.00 driver for that matter.
Some may have a false sense of security. We are friendly, we have gates and we have a lot of stuff just begging to be stolen.
And why is The Villages being hit? As Willie Sutton said when asked why he robbed banks, "It's where the money is".
