If you own the car for more then 6 months or so you might not pay for the car tax in Florida But a Call to the County Tax office would be your very best thing to do also ask about all the forms that you may need from your old state. I my self had a new car about 8 months old and did not pay the tax only for the place 7 months as they expire on your birthday and not the end of the month like other states might do.
