Based on what you say, it is likely a fraudulent charge possibly someone overseas buying goods online where the merchant is in Russia. I had something similar several months ago where two relatively small charges came from a Chinese online store. Then a larger fraudulent charge was made on Amazon. I had no choice but to cancel my card and get a new one. Fortunately, most of my preexisting accounts connected with the old credit card number automatically rolled over to the new credit card number. My card is AMEX.
If your credit card number has been sold on the internet (dark web), you will likely have more fraudulent charges and then your credit card company will cancel your existing card if you don’t.
