She’s getting paid to “monitor “ how people bag at self check out. And yes, she has to replace those bags as part of her job so that’s involved here. And Heaven forbid— that she might have to go somewhere else in the store to get more bags once they run out!! I get the feeling that she also resented you in some way. You know what happens when you give the “powerless” some “power”?
Finally, I give you credit for bagging $300 worth of groceries yourself. I would have gone to the regular check out lanes. And you stood up to her bullying, good for you!

If that was a real story......and it is HIGHLY doubtful especially in the "Just for Fun" section, I would applaud the OPs patience. I would have been tempted to double bag the monitor, then throw her in the trash where she belongs.
