I am sorry this happened to you. Dog owner needs to take responsibility give records for rabies. At least be concerned. Your wound looks normal not a vicious bit and our old skin doesn't take kindly to sharp objects. Clean it well and use neosporin once then keep it covered in vaseline. It is important to find out if the dog has its rabies shot. I would like to know how this happened? Did the dog walk over and bite you or did you get between two dogs playing or fighting? It makes a very big difference for the life of the dog. And you. Dog owners should be responsible if you are bit no matter how they must have their shots. They should have shared information instead of running away like guilty criminals.

The owner and equally nasty friend tried to drive off without giving me any information about the dog or himself. However they were photo captured by witnesses. The cart is a Grayish Yellow (NYS4) Yamaha with the names Janice and Jack on the front.

If anyone can please provide me with any additional information on these two men it would be appreciated. I am told that if I need medical attention I will need to file a police report and they will want the owners information.

Thank you.
