Yes, it seems history has been more charitable to the Japanese then the Germans. People love to ride the hate wagon of Hitler and the Germans but tend to give the Japanese a free pass. Thing is that the Japanese were every bit as vicious as the Germans and maybe even more.
Disclaimer: My statement in no way reflects the good people of both nations who still have to carry the burden of their ancestors. I was only referring to the time in history between the 1930's to the end of WWll. I personally hold no grudges but my father(WWll Vet) would not buy a Japan made car and gave me alot of grief because I have owned a few.
