Good post BTK...My guess is that the polititians are just pragmatic. Re- election is their only goal.
Correct me if I'm wrong (happens alot) but in the days when we were colonies of England, didn't most of the citizens just go along to get along? Didn't alot of those "citizens" have a "vested interest" to keep colonies under the King's control?
If history serves me right, wasn't it a small group of rabble-rousers that got the ball rolling to start the momentum of dissent?
