That will bring it back to life for another few years. We did that and it was great in our previous location. It also works well in an existing new bottom gasket. That being said, if you're handy it's a very simple DIY, Old one slips out new one in with maybe a bit of lube to make is easier to slide in. $25-$30 on (where else) Amazon.

I bought the 16 footer from Amazon with the tube inside. It's definitely a 2 person job to get the new one on. The rubber? Is pretty flimsy so don't even bother to put a screw in at the ends.
