In regard to this statement...

For me it was amnesty and the budget where I believe he failed.
It was blocked in congress by the Democrates who accused Bush and the Republications of being on a Freddie and Fannie witch hunt.

Who was it that controlled the House and the Senate for the 1st 6 years of Bush's term?

Just wondering....because whoever controls the subcommittees controls the bills that are brought to the floor.
