Why not say something that CAN possibly be proved and that those that have the vaccination will have milder symptoms than those that did not receive the vaccination? Of course, I also know of many family members that caught the dreaded covid prior to vaccinations being available and they had minor symptoms, milder than my own that I incurred after being vaccinated and still catching covid. I am not attempting to convince anyone NOT to get the vaccinations, but I do take issue with those that use static arguments versus a dynamic reasoning process.
Perhaps a possible means of conveying the message is to inform folks that there is way more of a chance of becoming infected with the dreaded covid virus now than before and that IF they are vaccinated, they may-MAY have milder symptoms than if they are not vaccinated. You may also inform them that they are less likely to be hospitalized, even though it is still a possibility. The unvaccinated are not the enemy. Covid is the enemy.
