If people planted the same grass as used on the golf greens, then they could cut their own grass with a push lawnmower. Up north that's what my father and myself used to cut our small lot with soft grass. The Florida grass varieties planted on most lawns like St. Augustine grow fast, tall, and are too rough and sharp to sit on or use much even if there were no fire ants. Most are useless and most Villagers NEVER really use their lawns except to look at them and IMAGINE that they are still up north - and for that they pay through the nose for lawn maintenance. You can't REALLY bring the better parts of "up north" with you. And you can't REALLY live in a perfect bubble. But, you CAN pay a lot of money to pretend!
