1) Putin - Has he given a public statement as to why and what he hopes to accomplish by sending in the military, bombing, destroying and killing so many thousand of Ukrainians? I realize that Ukrain was once part of the USSR before it broke up. Is this an ego trip for Putin to seek revenge....a power play? What does he accomplish with his military actions?

2) What is NATO and, especially, America doing about Putin's invasion. I understand that we and some NATO nations have imposed "sanctions" on Russia and I am told those sanctions have frozen Russia financial assets around the globe. So, is that a big deal? Sounds to me like a slap on the wrist: "Vladamir, you're a bad, bad boy. Go sit in the corner and think about what you did'? I hope, and more especially I pray , that this situation doesn't end up with WWIII. But how can we and other NATO nations stop this massacre without sending in our troops and have American life's lost? Or should we just stay the hell out of the situation?

3) If we or any other NATO nation sends in troops and goes head to head with Russia, will China join in with Russian forces against us.....how about North Korea or ISIS forces.

What is going on? Truth is we do not know. Typically of all news, it depends on who you ask. We are fed Putin THINKS, Putin's goal is. It is all simply speculation.

There is so much information and so many missing pieces.

My dad used to be with the news. My OPINION, so much of what we know or think we know is in reality theatrical presentations, further spun by bias. A simple example there is an auto accident. Involved are two drivers and 4 witnesses. In reality there will at least 6 different tales about what happened usually more than that. The REAL NEWS happens behind closed doors and in non-recorded communication.

My view is with Ukraine but while my forefathers came from Latvia, in that region I had to look at a map to know where Ukraine is. As I understand it under the Czars they were all part of Russia.

As far as Ukraine, as I see it without outside help they would have been crushed in hours. We object, I object to obvious targeting of civilians. History, civilians are always caught up in WAR. When did we cross the line is debatable-Sherman in our civil war? In our revolution civilians entered the battles, spied, made weapons etc etc.
WWII the germans bombed London, the Brits and Americans bombed German cities.
The US dropped the atomic bomb on civilians.

History-there is no shortage of books. If we had. If we had not. The war wouldn't have happened.

I have a strange view of most things. THIS IS WHERE WE ARE AND WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE.

Putin is to his apparent surprise in an impossible position. How does this story end?
Putin reversing and pulling out of Ukraine with Russia paying for the damages he has caused-no chance. Putin resorting to nuclear war? Perhaps? The world escalating this sending American troops? Good chance of when they corner Putin he goes nuclear.

If, I was writing a novel, the only POSSIBLE BEST ENDING is if Putin either commits suicide or he is killed. The Russians have a long tradition of this. Poison had been popular.

WE including ME sit in our offices and post. Imagine if we had missals, bombs dropping around us and heavy armor surrounding us?.
