Many times a leaky faucet can be repaired with simple gasket replacements. I have not worked on any of the ones in the villages, but have done several in previous homes. IMHO, I would go to an ACE hardware store with a picture of your valve, and the age of the house, they seem to carry village specific parts. If you go the handyman route, ask if they have actually done this, otherwise the licensed plumber will be$75 to $100 to get to your house, and then the parts and labor.
