I used PODS last july (2008). I planed for 2 pods to be delivered and ran into a problem when the POD driver only wanted to drop one at a time allowing me to unload one and then pick up the empty and droip the second. The only problem was I aranged to have professional movers unload all at one time. The problem as far as PODS was concerned was that he could not fit 2 PODS on my driveway. He would not place any part of them on the street AND even though I have a designer home with golf CArt garage (so a fairly wide driveway) he would not place it on my GRass over the sprinkler heads. I almost got thrown in jail for not allowing hiom to leave before I spoke to a supervisor..and he had the driver take pictures and measurements etc.

Bottom line was my first POD driver was a newbie (first week on the job) and was being overly cautious not to cause liability for his company (even though I told him I would sign a relese about the sprinkler heads). They sent a more expereinced driver with the Second POD and all was OK......but it was frantic at the beginning.

SO lesson learned...make absolute certain you have room on your driveway for how many PODS you expect ..they will not place it on the street even a couple of inches. IF uncertain, plan 2 separate deliveries with the one empty to be picked up while the second loaded one is dropped off....and if you are hiring professional movers to help with the unloading ..plan accordingly. YOu only have 72 hours to get rid of teh POD before Community watch will write you up.

Otherwise all went fine and there was NO up front approvals needed by anyone at the villages to use PODS....they are delivered all the time in TV

Any specific questions just ask!!
