Way too often little dogs in Florida end up homeless and that's where rescue comes in. Many of the dogs that Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida takes in are in pretty bad shape and in need of surgery, heartworm treatment, or other treatment. Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida is a non-profit rescue. Dogs are fostered in homes all over the state of Florida, so there are no building expenses. And there are no paid employees as the rescue is made up of all volunteers. Monies raised benefit the dogs.
