Judging an athlete's performances on a golf course, football field, basketball court, hockey rink, etc. should just be based on what happens when he/she is playing the sport. If cheating on the sports venue is involved then that should count. But off-court stuff should be irrelevant unless it goes into the realm of criminal activity especially if it has some bearing on the sport involved like betting on the opposing team to win and then losing the game on purpose, etc.
Tiger Woods is a great player of golf. Easily one of the best there has ever been.
He certainly deserves to be in the Hall of Fame of Golf whatever his character flaws are.
