Wow, I only paid $2000 for an electric cart(like new) that I got from an estate sale that was owned by a snowbird. My trojan batteries are seven years old but getting weaker. I asked a cart repair man that was in the neighborhood, how much it would cost to replace the batteries and he gave me a quote of approx. $1100 installed. Lithium really is great but right now, it is very expensive. Hopefully, the cost of lithium batteries will decrease in our near future. The wife likes the electric, but I would trade it for a gas fueled cart without hesitation.
