17th Hole at the Players
I think almost every viewer likes to watch the players tee off at the 17th hole at the Players Championship. So, why aren't there a lot more holes like that on the pro tour? Risky water holes seem to greatly increase spectator interest. A course with little or no water, and easy to escape sand traps are boring. Players have gotten so good at getting up and down from the shallow sand traps, that it is almost not a penalty. Long drives on wide fairways are great, but, they are hard to appreciate on television. My opinion.
