Oil world wide is priced in dollars. Not only is the price of the commodity changing but as we all know the dollar is changing in real value. We are told the cpi consumer price index is now 10% that of course is caused partly by the increased cost of fuel. That loss of real value causes further rise in the price of crude so it feeds on itself.
Fortunately, we do not drive much. When, I was working I drove quite a bit. I just filled up our car, It is a smaller car, now a small car is called a mid size. To the oil point.
HALF A TANK IS NOW OVER $40.
Quoted 104 a barrel I think it is higher than that NOW.
As far as your idiot vs my idiot. Truth sadly some have resorted to name calling. You may not agree with a president but none are idiots.
I am not going to run for president. Truth if they look hard enough surely they could find or invent some problem in my past. Perhaps, something I did in high school or college. My high school has closed. Can they imply it was my fault? My records, are they lost? If, so, was I to run they can simply be invented
I've read shale oil, a lower grade of crude, requiring fracking to extract becomes profitable at $50 a barrel at the quoted $104 a barrel it is not profit but our leader that is preventing oil production in the US.
As far as oil companies and loyalty to the US, they are all corporations their loyalty is to the stock holders. You can, we can, I AM a stock holder. Aside that is another HUH.
Since I own like on millionth of exxon, chevron, phillips and one of the large refiners, should they not issue me a corporate gas card and pay for my gasoline? They don't-go figure. THEY DO PAY A NICE DIVIDEND, MY SHARES ARE UP QUITE A BIT. You can CHOOSE to invest, RISK YOUR WEALTH (MONEY) as well-OR NOT.
