On a different note, my wife and I were fixated on buying a home with a fence.
Why -- the privacy and, we had dogs.
When viewing the fenced corner lot homes, we often heard dogs bark when they sensed us stirring next door or a few houses away.
Surprisingly, to us, we ended up getting a home with a kissing lanai. We still have pets, we just have to walk them.
We made a decision to avoid the potential for dogs barking in the enclosed back yards in the surrounding area.
We avoided the unattended backyard dogs, but now they visit our unfenced corner lot.
The dogs, the dogs.......

Not sure, since owners can't post signs. But, I will be more conscious as to a) finding a non-built corner lot and b) be on the watch for trigger-happy sprinkler operators....thx for the heads-up!
