They are closed on Sundays, so most high school kids would not be interested in a job there. They usually work only on weekends.
Only full timers get benefits, though part-timers can buy in to their self-insurance, which covers viagra and male condoms, but doesn't cover birth control pills for women, and costs more than most of the part-timers earn in a week; hourly employees don't even get sick time. The discount is only 15%.
As a customer, we have two craft stores already in the area: Michael's and JoAnne Fabrics. You can't get Halloween stuff at Hobby Lobby because they think Halloween is a night of Satan or some such nonsense.
