We had lots of these ducks in Ft Lauderdale....they'd sit on their eggs under the bushes...hatch about 12 - 18 babies and in a week they only had 3 or 4 left....there were lots of critters in the canals that enjoyed ducklings
not the brightest bird on the planet....commonly raised for the restaurants, as they have a large breast. They are not native to Florida, those in the wild are escapes
