If you have allergies, you should make sure that the reusable filter does a very high level of filtering. High level filters can filter out essentially all the allergens. Inexpensive filters just get dust. If you leave your windows bloused and the AC or heat on all the time and don’t have pets, your filters may stay remarkably clean, in which case you may need to replace them only once or twice a year.
