Wiseman builds a beautiful pool using the best equipment in the industry. Why then, such a negative post? We signed our contract on 11-3-2020 (after an initial request for a consult made in July of 2020) and as of today, April 7 of 2022 we are Still. Not. Done.

We know that we’re fortunate to even be able to build a pool with what the world has gone through since 2020. We understand the devastating impact of Covid, labor and material shortages, and even weather, but this has gone into the inexcusable territory.

(BTW, 5 other pools in our community that were started either at the same time as ours or later have been done for awhile. What they all have in common is that they didn’t use wiseman. You can’t tell me that the other companies weren’t up against the same obstacles).

We finally got the pool filled last week, and are waiting on the finishing tweaks. One of those tweaks is figuring out why our hot tub keeps leaking water. We were told more than once that this was a simple fix of adjusting check valves, but they have not been able to correct it. Last Friday our Project Manager told us that all had been fixed. Sure enough the water leaked out, and when the timers kicked in on Saturday morning, the jets were spraying water all over the place. No one there works on weekends, but we still put in a frantic call to our salesman who tried to walk me through making adjustments at the panel box. We have not yet had “pool school”; no one showed us how to operate the system, so we were advised to look up YouTube videos. WTF? We did, and of course, YouTube vids and reality aren’t always in sync.

So, here we sit at the start of our 18th month since contract signing, waiting and hoping that someone shows up to correct the errors and finish the last couple details before we can swim.

I want wiseman out of my life. I can’t believe they don’t want us out of theirs. If they’d send out their guys and have them work for more than an hour here, everything could be finished in one day. They also need customer service training from top to bottom. Our next step will be contacting one of the Network news stations’ consumer advocates.

We’ve already steered one neighbor away from wiseman. You may decide to use them anyway since they do build a nice product, but if you use them you should know what you’re in for….a nearly two year project.
sorry for all your problems , but I don’t think this post is going to help things get better for you, I would have waited to everything was done again sorry for the mess
