We have numerous lawn ornaments displayed throughout the neighborhood and homes sell within days of being placed on the market. No one seems to be concerned about "lower property values" due to lawn ornaments. But, if you enjoy a sterile neighborhood, absent of any personalization, then there are plenty of newer neighborhoods with homes for sale.
