Some people will argue about anything. There is no such thing as perfect choices. There are many good choices and of course some bad ones.
My opinion any complex expensive, device, in this case a golf cart, you will need parts and service. Yamaha, there is no problem getting parts or service from multiple places that are close by.
We currently own a Yamaha 2013 EFI. So far, it is 9 years old. It is fine. I will not be planning on replacing it for about TEN MORE YEARS. By then what is NEW now will be Ten years out of date. I may not last till the ten year from now models come out.
