The last time I checked the First Amendment, there was no proviso that previous national office-holders were to be muzzled upon leaving office. They used to have the same freedom-of-speech rights as any other citizen, and I don't think that's changed.....

Is there any good reason why a previous national office-holder's free speech right should be lawfully suspended?
