Actually, you have more power as a customer than you have as someone who doesn't help them profit.
You also have more power as a shareholder.
If you really want them to change their tune, you'll buy stock in their company and attend their stockholder meetings, and use your power of the vote to make them change.
Until then, it's just more noise from Charlie Brown's teacher.
