Thanks. That's nice of you to say. And verbal sparring can be interesting. (and educational) I am sure that we are all "Patriotic", at least within the bounds of what we consider important. I worry about the trends that have taken the US from its top country position after WW2 to its much lower position on world lists. We could argue about which of those trends caused that to happen. We would have different opinions. I have enjoyed the PROGRESS that the US has had since WW2. (science, medicine, and social) I worry about the US vanishing middle class that began about 1990.
........We could probably agree that a country without a strong middle class is a weak country. We would likely agree that a strong military Defense is needed. And that strong borders are needed by a country. We might agree that even golfers can be a little bit athletic and it beats playing horseshoes.......See..............a little bit of love
..........Some may NOT think like me that the world is at a Historically Important tipping point - and that war in Europe today and even the French election.....is or will reflect back upon the US. (even Florida)
