Well, my statements on immigration would have been different in the 1930s. We probably had only 130 million people here then. Now we have 350 million. I would guess that considering our science, technology, and tax structure designed to move wealth from the middle class into the upper class - that the US would be about ideal at 280 million people. So, we are currently over-populated, in my opinion. We would have less crime and a better quality of life.
.........Consider Switzerland .......they have tight control of their borders and, as such, have a much greater quality of life than the US. And the quality of life CAN be quantified and can be checked on world lists for such things.
