When I didn't stop speaking in class and was sent to detention was that the school fighting with me or punishing me?

When someone gets too political on ToTV and gets a timeout is ToTV fighting with them or punishing them?

When someone goes too far on Twitter and gets a timeout is Twitter fighting with them or punishing them?

When someone makes a threat against the president and is fined or has his freedom taken away is the US Govt fighting with them or punishing them?

When anyone in a position of authority exercises that authority to take something away from another party is that a fight or is that punishment?

The difference between those examples and what just occurred is that in those examples the speaking or the writing violated a rule or regulation. In this case the statements by Disney didn't violate any rule, they just made someone angry. They made him angry enough to flex his authority and take something away from Disney. Disney was punished for speaking out.

Yes, reading comprehension is a very good thing, along with unbiased, critical thinking.
Yes, because sometimes "speaking out" has consequences. Freedom of speech means the government can't stop you from saying something, it DOES NOT mean you are immune from the consequences.
