Did anyone really think the low prices were here to stay? I never did - I think that is why no one is really shocked prices are going up as the economy improves a wee bit. I know everyone always badmouths Jimmy Carter, but if we had put on the damn sweater and limited our consumption 30 years ago, we would not be in this energy dependency situation. Hooray for golf cart transportation and hoping we get energy independent in the next 10 years.
