SS, smart move to pay for an appraisal. I've also had clients (owners) pay for Building Inspections to show the house is in tip-top condition.

I tend to agree with people who say "Grab any reasonable offer and get on with your life". The years are flying by. None of us are promised a long life so it behooves us to get on with the fun!
