They did and they did not make any very necessary changes. Several of the greens are very poorly designed and should be redone. About 25% of the first and third greens are unplayable. All that happened during the last renovation was that they regrassed the tees and greens and they were bare and full of weeds within a few months.
I don't understand all of this renovating golf courses every few years. I've played hundreds of golf courses in my life and can't recall any where they are regrassed every few years. It seems to me that if the tees and greens are constructed properly to begin with, this wouldn't be necessary.

They just redid Sweetgum, one of my favorites, but the tee boxes didn't get any attention.
