I don't think I have ever seen a Great Blue Heron with that type of plumage in the front. I was wondering if it had to do with spring and love in the air and all that stuff? I don't know, it was very interesting and one of the reasons I followed him (I assume him) to get a few shots.

Oh wait, if you were talking about me, I do tend to not shave as often since retiring - lol!
