I tend to agree. I don't know about the Wildwood office, but the overall state program doesn't seem to be doing very well. Here is a link to their 2020 annual report. Note the graphs on page 3 that indicate how they have been going downhill over the years.

Seniors vs Crime is a corporation that receives about $400K from the State of Florida every year. Some people seem to think that their mission is just to collect information and to assist Villagers who have been cheated by contractors. But, they are actually supposed to assist the Florida Attorney General and law enforcement in prosecuting crimes. In that respect, I would consider the local Villages offices to be a failure regarding the notorious landscaper who has been ripping off Villagers for about 7-10 years. Seniors vs Crime has a file on that company that is about 12 inches thick. Why didn't they prosecute that contractor and it's owner many years ago and prevent hundreds of Villagers from getting ripped off?
