i ask that often and every day LOL. it's my absolute go to favorite, so aside from the one I make... imagine why?
I have gone to each restaurant that offers prime rib on any day, here's the run down. I should mention I'm spoiled on prime rib, 99% travel so I've had many all over the states. Best is Wisconsin
Around here, the pickins are slim. First point already raise, because planning isn't the forte' of these restuarants - get there early else you ain't gettin any! They only make 1 or 2 of them vs several and knowing how to use the remainders
Out of the lot - the alleged "steakhouses" outside the bubble
Outback & Longhorn have removed it from the menu since the pandemic
Texas Roadhouse - IF you can get it, isn't bad but it's not stellar it will pass just like Miller's Ale House.
Havana - typically over roasted, and small also low grade cut.
Impanema (since it was mentioned) - This is a Brazilian steak house like Fogo, Rodizio, etc. It is quite good, and the prime rib is done completely different - I could eat the entire thing it's that good, but if you are looking for that red center - it won't have it due to the cooking technique. But you'll love it!
Prima - Surprisingly, their italian is blah, but their steaks are pretty decent. Prime Rib is the best in the squares.
Cityfire - you can do better at ale house.
Augustine's 1812 - never ever ever ever ever. if you have zero taste buds eat here Denny's is far better
The country clubs - I lumped them all together because I have noticed a trend in them - just enough to be ok. To be real - they cater to golfers and that's a quick in and out. The bar menus are horrible and lack any creativity or balance and the food is right behind it. Some are salt pools of taste and others are cardboard Just not happy with any of them
Harvest is the newest entry and they do it on Friday, it's on my list. IF they do as well as they have with their churrasco steak then it should be ok when they have it.
Fenny Grill - small slice, yet it commits a cardinal sin of Prime Rib - slice it then grill it! the shame of it all.... sad
We have lived here and on the coast, finding good prime rib in this state is a challenge. That's why I make my own plus I can also control the temp on it.
Orlando and Tampa are in the same spot. eh.
That is what I have to offer. Hope it helps some.
