All I can say is “good luck with that!” When I was trying to get internet service reconnected on our rental house (after their error in disconnecting it), I spent around 8 hours total on the phone trying to get it straightened out. I was placed on hold more times than I can count. Every time I called, I was asked for my phone number in case of a disconnection so they could call back. “Disconnection” must be their code word of getting out of a problem they don’t know how to manage. My line was disconnected multiple times and no one EVER called me back. On one call, I asked to speak to a supervisor and of course I was put on hold for this also………supervisor never came on the line and never returned my call. On one call in the late afternoon, I finally reached someone who seemed to know what he was talking about and set me up for service to be reconnected the next day. Next day comes, still no internet service. After multiple calls again, I was set up for “new service” to begin 5 days later!
Guess what? They lost my business. The next day, I went to T-Mobile and got a Gateway tower for their 5G internet service (super easy to set up) & promptly cancelled my Century Link service request for 5 days later. I also cancelled our Century Link internet service with them at our current home and got another T-Mobile tower.
I highly recommend staying away from Century Link due to their extremely poor customer service. Being able to talk to someone doesn’t always mean good customer service!
