If there was ever a question of how elected politicians and their families can make out like bandits, Jared Kushner provides the example. I hope this post doesn’t get dinged as political because people should be aware of how the “system” works,

Jared was a second-rate real estate developer in New York. Maybe his worst investment was his purchase and ‘repurposing’ of the 555 Fifth Avenue complex. His investors were wiped out when he lost the property in foreclosure back to the lead bank, Bank of Japan.

So after some high profile assignments from his father-in-law and the results of the 2020 election,it was announced recently that Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia, had invested $2 billion in Kushner’s newly-formed private equity fund. You read that right—$2 BILLION DOLLARS!

Now only weeks after that investment, Kushner announced a series of multi-million dollar investments in ISRAEL! That ought to increase the King’s popularity back home.

Ahhh, such are the benefits of the moneyed class.
