We had a rectangular table with 6 chairs, but there really wasn't enough room to keep chairs on both sides.
Additionally, I noticed we had 6 outdoor dining chairs, 6 in the dining room, 4 in the breakfast nook, and 3 at the counter, a total of 19 chairs for 2 people.
So we went with the wicker furniture to create a conversation pit. We have a chaise and a chair at one end, with a table between. On the table in the photo you can see the heater we have so we can use the lanai during the cold winter nights.
