I agree wholeheartedly with you within TV on residential roads and the boulevards. I notice you avoided referring to limited access highways. As I'm sure you know after 40 years in law enforcement, the #1 proximate cause of accidents on those highways is changing lanes. And the number one cause of excessive lane changing is someone not keeping up with the flow of traffic---especially those that park in the far left hand lane at 55. Sometimes it seems like there's a magnet in the left lane that attracts those drivers. I'd like to know what you think, as a LEO, of a post from about 4 years ago. The person stated that they always drive 30 in the furthest left lane of 466 in the 45 zone because
THEY believe that is fast enough. And while they were probably never
IN an accident, I wonder how many they
CAUSED.
