Any service business is difficult. Customers, who call you because they do not know enough to fix it themselves, assume while they never did, that you should work for free.

Plumbing? I seem to recall in the villages the warranty is TWO YEARS. For the original poster, I would contact the Villages. I think they have a warranty department.
