I worked on a team of mostly millennials and they were reliable and worked hard. Yeah it's difficult to hire people these days....but there are people of all ages out there willing to dig in and work hard every day.
I think the issue is that people now won't work because somebody says "I boss, you worker, you do what I say all day long for $12/hr". People want to believe their work matters. If you have a cause that people can rally behind and you give them a piece of the action they'll work darn near as hard as the leader.
Oh the boss is a slacking ******* and the job is ****ty with no avenues for growth, no benefits, and poor pay? I think we've found a potential explanation!
