I saw the story about the closing for a clean-up a few weeks back. I hope they make it back to their former status. I'll have to read about it because i'm done with them for good.

my career took me into tens of thousands of restaurant basements. I can assure you your own kitchen is superior to any of those restaurants where.millions ate in nyc.
It will never be perfect but the best of restaurants have been cited occasionally and the cases of bribery between inspectors and them are routine in many cities.
I have ate in cited restaurants afterwards to give them a 2nd chance and can say i've never had a bad meal afterwards.
I believe in 2nd chances.
