Admin, I think you were a bit premature in closing the ref thread. For the most part, it was some friendly banter and occasional actual discussion. There didn't seem to be much of a personal nature until one poor poster felt he must get his $.02 included but evidently couldn't think of anything intelligent or even neutral to add, so he reverted to a time tested and approved DNC pejorative.

Most members who had or would post in such a thread are intelligent enough to view the comment for what it was, consider the source, and totally dismiss the post. No harm done.

Plus you stopped me from commenting to a previous poster that "Just Because You’re Paranoid That Doesn’t Mean They Aren’t Out to Get You." It fit in that thread. It sticks out here.
