I am the least talented home repair/carpenter in the universe but I successfully installed knobs on all our drawers and cabinets and they look great. At Home Depot they have a plastic green template that you can purchase and it is perfect for use with a power drill to ensure that you are placing the knobs at the same location in every drawer and cabinet. You might need longer screws for the knobs than are provided, but those are a cheap purchase at Home Depot. again, I did it and they look fine and I have no talent for this. Good luck.
